This Samsung Galaxy S10 plus is an innovation in the sense that it doesn’t follow the sameness of the last few models of Samsung handsets. The screen, a 6.4-inch size is massive it displaces the front camera. On the video side, there was an upgrade to the software to include video stabilisation. This is to ensure that all ultra-video is as smooth as an active camera. There’s also the HDR10+ Video recording which is impressive because S9 did not offer HDR recording at all. It pulls in a wider amount of contrast via the HEVC (smaller files) codec turns off when the Samsung’s lab labelled HDR10+ is enabled in the settings. The software is impressive, it switches between lenses as you zoom in and out seamlessly. These lenses are the same across the S10 line in other word if you buy an S10e which is more expensive than another s10e model, you will still get the same lenses.

The camera delivers good quality photos even in poor lighting conditions. It’ll blur the background if necessary and you can alter the background blur intensity even after taking a shot. Samsung also includes:

One of the camera features is the shot suggestions that help to frame up the shots. The shutter activates when you hover the reticule, although this is not always accurate. A close-up object with enough lighting will reveal excellent details.

You will get strong details in the foreground and the rich bokeh in the background. The background was tapped to get it focused and the bokeh gave the foreground sone nice blur.

It is good at tracking fast moving objects such as bright flames that moves in a wind, they are crisp and not blurry. They were not over exposed nor blurry despite having to capture a dark stone shot. The photo software is a big bonus, it was added for neural processing unit to the Galaxy S10 line, this matches the scene the camera is on to the 30 scene optimize settings.
